TILT - 3rd March

I love my William Morris mugs from Liberty. I wish I’d bought more and they don’t do them anymore. They’re the mug of choice for my cup of tea at breakfast.

I have admired his work since I was at school and when I came to live in England I visited Standen. It is thoroughly Morris with a plethora of original wallpapers and textiles. Just wonderful. The V&A held an incredible exhibition of his work and that of his associates in the summer of 1996 and will never forget the enormity of the handmade tapestries hanging from the ceiling.
